In a new-build house the garden is often a blank canvas, left empty or grassed over. The brief here was to create an outdoor sitting room with relatively low maintenance planting, including using artificial lawn.
A beautiful pathway connects the house to the raised seating area, with gravel and cobbles defining the low level planting areas. Climbers will eventually soften the fences and are establishing quickly.
This is now a relaxing place to spend time and beautifully connects the house to the outdoor sitting-room.
