I am passionate about designing gardens that work well for my clients. In a time constrained world you should always be able to enjoy your garden whenever you have the opportunity. I relish a challenge, from making every centimetre work hard in a small space to creating a sense of intimacy in a large space.
I studied at Capel Manor College, Enfield, one of the leading further education establishments in the field. There I qualified in RHS Level 2 Horticulture before completing my Diploma in Garden Design.
Before becoming a garden designer I was an electrical engineer in the power industry, so I have a strong technical background. My main field was low carbon energy production and I use my environmental knowledge in my designs, so every decision is well informed.
I am based in Buntingford and I design gardens in Hertfordshire.
What makes me different?
Ethical sourcing plays a big part in what I do, informing the choice of materials and suppliers used to bring your garden design to life.
Our lives are always changing and moving on, so I design with those changes in mind. Your garden will be designed to easily adapt.
I take the environmental impact of the design into account so we make decisions and trade-offs from a position of knowledge.
I will support you while your garden gets established, with visits throughout the first year and advice should you need it.
